Hovercraft Experience
Hovercraft Rental
Hovercraft are oodles of fun, if you have never driven a hovercraft yet, this unique experience should be next on the "do before you die" list of life's pleasures. People love the thrill of transitions, flying from water to land back to water. Everyone expects some kind of a bump, but the join between land and water is indiscernible. Forget the rough and tumble associated with Jet Skis and Ribs (I guess a Rib boat is so called because your ribs hurt the day after you go out in one) hovercraft are really smooth; air cushion suspension and wow factor come as standard. Hovercraft can be hired for short rides, long rides, learn to fly experiences, corporate events and commercial hire - we even had one couple wanting to hire one for their wedding.

.... about the Hov Pod Hovercraft
- Over 700 hours on a dry salt lake without any problems what so ever, no new skirts, no other parts required. Operated flawlessly
- I am amazed at what it will handle it is fantastic.
- Used it on very rough rapids, really thought it would not handle it but amazed at how it dealt with extremely fast flowing water and rapids, used craft to position at accurate point in rapids to take flow measurements. Ran up and down river over numerous large waves and rocks without problem.
- The Mercedes of Hovercraft
- Interestingly when I got it started there was a mother elephant and her two youngsters barely 40 metres away, they didn't even blink!
- Over 800 hours with first craft
- 50 hours done. At Brooklands used one tank every 2.5 hours but not going constantly and not at high revs just spins and things. Skirts in excellent condition, virtually no sign of wear
- Hit a concrete block at full speed during the demo but the Hov Pod just bounced off - "Could have ruined my day if I had been driving a fibre glass hovercraft"
- Just to let you know some feedback from past event. Went out on event last week, both craft ran well after a very icy cold start to the day! They ran very well and we took them over some small pools of water. One guest hit a small tree in the craft, the hull was Ok but it knocked the tree down, all OK otherwise.
- Chris, our delivery driver was involved in a 4 car pile up exiting from a motorway - hit from behind by a 4X4, one woman was hospitalised, our van and trailer were written off by the insurers, Chris had to undergo physiotherapy, the Hov Pod took a whack on the back but absorbed the impact, leaving just a three inch scar that was hot welded to look as good as new.
